Mixed Greens with Orange Vinaigrette Click here for the print-ready version
Makes 4 servings
Orange juice provides a light, citrus flavor, and when combined with sesame oil, tamari sauce and ginger, makes for a tasty dressing that can be used over any mixed greens you have available.
4 cups mixed torn greens (red leaf , bibb or romaine lettuce, spinach, arugula, watercress) 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms 1/3 cup sliced onions 1/4 cup sliced radishes 1/4 cup sliced carrots 1/4 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon reduced sodium tamari or soy sauce 2 teaspoons sesame oil 1 packet (2 teaspoons) NatraTaste Blue sugar substitute 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 garlic clove, minced
1. Combine all vegetables (greens through carrots) in a large serving bowl.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a small jar with a lid. Shake well; pour over salad and toss. Serve immediately.
